GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A cold front will work its way through the state of Michigan during the day Wednesday, but one effect will actually be to warm things up a bit.

Breezy conditions from the west-southwest will develop, helping temperatures back to around 80° for much of the area.  The front itself will swing through with very little moisture, so dry weather is likely to hang on.

The worst the cold front may bring is some additional high and mid-level cloud cover in the afternoon for West Michigan.

As the front slides out of the region, things will cool down a bit once again Wednesday night and Thursday.  Lows in some spots will fall into the 40s, with highs Thursday staying in the mid 70s.

Chances of thunderstorms will return as the weekend approaches; you can check out the full 7 Day Forecast on the Weather page.
