Suspect Arrested While Hiding In A Barn

peterson mug copyFERRIS TOWNSHIP,Mich. — According to the Montcalm County Sheriff’s office 18-Year-Old Brock Allen Peterson, of Greenville, fled from Michigan State Police Troopers as attempts were made to arrest him at a residence on Briggs Road near Vickeryville Road in Ferris Township on September 2. The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office Canine team was brought in and located Peterson in a nearby barn among large hay bales.

Peterson’s charges include two felony charges of Buying and Selling Non-Ferrous Metals, two felony Larceny charges, a misdemeanor Larceny charge, one Parole Violation warrant, four Failure to Appear in Court warrants, and two out of County warrants.

Peterson was the target of an investigation regarding the theft of scrap metal which led to a number of the warrants.
