Initial reports from the court claimed that Wood smashed windows at his home, but officials now say that it was his parents’ car window.  Wood’s mother said in court that her son said nothing mattered if he couldn’t see 13-year-old Jayden Thomas, the girl he was discovered with in Chicago Sept. 8.

Both Thomas and Wood were charged Monday morning with running away and being with immoral persons.  Her pretrial is scheduled Sept. 23.  Wood’s pretrial was scheduled for Sept. 25, but it’s unclear if this psychiatric evaluation will change that date.
