‘Overwhelmingly Great:’ Lt. Kip Belcher of Michigan State Police on Working with School for Services for Fallen Trooper Butterfield

As preparations continue for the funeral of fallen Michigan State Police Trooper Paul Butterfield, Lieutenant Kip Belcher with MSP spoke to FOX 17 about working with Manistee Middle/High School for the funeral, calling the school “a tremendous group of folks,” and saying their support has been “overwhelmingly great.”

A number of law enforcement agencies from the area are expected to attend the services, as well as departments from outside of the state.

Trooper Paul Butterfield’s visitation starts at 10 a.m. on Sept 14 at Manistee High School, and his funeral will follow at 1 p.m.
