GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Increasing warmth and moisture will bring rain to West Michigan through the end of the workweek, beginning with just a few isolated showers during the day Wednesday.

A weak wave of energy generated some light rain showers that struggled to make their way through West Michigan Wednesday morning, but more wet weather was developing to the west.  That rain will bring at least some pockets of showers to the region later in the day Wednesday as well.  Much of the day will remain dry, however.

A better chance of widespread showers and storms will likely develop overnight into early Thursday morning, followed by more rain Thursday night and Friday.

The forecast will improve in time for the weekend; check out the full 7 Day Forecast on the Weather page.
