Cooler and Breezy Fall Day Ahead

092113windsWEST MICHIGAN — A cold front that moved through Friday will bring cooler and more dry air into West Michigan Saturday. Breezy northwest winds will this afternoon will gust to around 30 miles per hour making the afternoon feel even cooler. Afternoon high temperatures will feel fall-like as  highs only reach into the low to mid 60’s. Clearing skies overnight will allow temperatures to drop significantly overnight. Many areas that see clear skies and calm winds will drop into the upper 30’s and low 40’s by Sunday sunrise.

Sunday is the Autumnal Equinox or the official first day of fall. Temperatures Sunday will make it feel fall-like as highs only warm into the mid 60’s. Sunny skies Sunday afternoon will make for another pleasant day for ArtPrize.

Temperatures continue on a warming trend as we head into the beginning of the next work week. Sunshine and warming temperatures into the low to mid 70’s will make for a gorgeous first week of fall before rain chances return at the end of the week.
