This was a disgusting display of the “judicial process” in Barry County. A judge who wanted to make a name for herself instead of allowing the case to be brought to a different court where C. Curtis would have a fair trial. Keeping him in a small town KNOWING the jury has already made up their mind. Allowing 2 male jurors to fall asleep during the trial !!! Never addressing it!
Not allowing the defense to be heard or bring forth evidence or let witnesses be heard. Not that it would have made a difference since the jury already knew their decision.
What an embarrassment for our justice system.
Every American deserves a fair trial unless you are in Barry County. There was if nothing else proof of reasonable doubt.
Barry County court system put our Judicial Process to SHAME!

delusional…….you must be…..the facts were all there….the Judge did what she could to be as fair as possible…obviously you have been manipulated by his lies…for anyone there that had no ties to either side there no doubt where the guilt lied!! He violated those girls and used their respect and trust in him to assault them…inappropriate touching does not come near to describing what he did and why he was sentenced to the extent he was
