Sketch of Gaines Twp. Assault Suspect Released

Gaines Township Assault SketchGAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A sketch was released Friday of the man wanted for the September assault of a teenager in Gaines Township.

On Sept. 28, Kent County deputies say the man approached three female teenagers in the 1200 block of 60th Street and “forcibly lifted” one of them off the ground.   The girl then hit the suspect, and he fled.

The suspect is a white male between 30 and 40 years old, 6 feet tall and medium to heavy set.  He is balding, has glasses and was last seen in an orange t-shirt.

Anyone with information about this incident or the suspect is asked to call Kent County Sheriff’s Department at 616-632-6125 or Silent Observer at 616-774-2345.
