CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich- He may be one of the biggest names in Hip Hop, but last week, Eminem got to put his “proud dad” hat on after his daughter, Hailie Scott was crowned Homecoming Queen.
The 17-year-old was given that honor at Chippewa Valley High School on Friday. Hailie was escorted out with her mother, Kim as Eminem watched from inside the school. The rapper apparently didn’t want to cause a scene or take away from his daughter’s special moment. The Macomb Daily reports that parents at the school describe Hailie as a smart, athletic woman, and say despite her father’s successes, they’ve always let her live a “normal life”.
Eminem has always talked publicly about his love and devotion to his daughter, and even included her voice on his song “My Dad’s Gone Crazy” back in 2002.
