KALAMAZOO, Mich. — In an unusual way to show taxpayers where their road taxes have been spent, the Kalamazoo County Road Commission has created a fall color tour of road projects.

“Experience a fall color tour while also traveling through some of our 2013 construction projects,” says a release from the commission. And they mean it.

In the release, specific travel directions are given so that you can not only enjoy the changing of the leaves but county road projects completed this year. The ‘tour’ begins and ends at the intersection of Q Avenue and 12th Street west of Kalamazoo in Texas Township.
