A West Michigan mom is ‘Paying It Forward’ after she lost her son to cancer.

We first introduced you to 2-year-old Caden Brown from Van Buren County back in June after his story inspired not only his community but people across the world. Caden lost his battle with brain cancer about three months ago, but through his family he continues to touch people’s lives.

Caden’s mom Amanda Brown says she tries to stay busy to keep her mind off things and one way she does that is by keeping her son’s memory alive and spreading awareness about childhood cancer.

“It’s put a fire in me to get a fight out there.”

She started creating ‘Caden’s Kindness Cards.’

“You can do an act of kindness for somebody and then give them the card where they can read about childhood cancer; read about Caden and pass it on to somebody else.”

People from all across Michigan to Florida and even places outside of the country have asked her to mail them one.

“’I’ve already got the first 500 claimed and I’ve got 1000 on order as soon as they get here I’ll be mailing those out.”

To find out how you can get a ‘Caden Kindness Card’ just head to the ‘Prayers for Caden’ Facebook page.
