MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich- An investigation is underway in Muskegon County, after a teenager was shot on Wednesday evening.
Investigators tell FOX 17 it happened around 8:30 p.m. around Hume Avenue and Jefferson Street in Muskegon Heights. A 17-year-old told police he was walking down a dark alley when he heard shots, but didn’t see anything.
He was hit in the stomach, but is expected to recover from his injuries.
Muskegon Heights police are investigating what exactly happened, and are asking anyone with information to call them or Silent Observer at 231-72-CRIME.
