GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids police are investigating three shootings at the same time. Each occurred within one half hour of each other.

The order in which they happened isn’t clear.

One shooting happened in the 4100 block of Norman Drive Southeast. A sergeant on the scene said that a 17-year-old boy was shot. His head was grazed, but the injury wasn’t serious. His home had been shot at on Saturday as well.

The second shooting took place on Edward Street shooting. Police said two homes were shot. They believe just one of them was the intended target. No one was injured.

A third shooting happened at Dickinson and Union. Police said the suspects fired into a home. Shattered glass hit a woman that lives inside. Her injuries were minor. A sergeant said a teenager with gang ties used to live in the home. The teenager no longer lives there.

Police are not sure if the shootings are related. They believe each incident has gang ties.
