GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two Indiana men are in custody after a credit union robbery in Grand Rapids Halloween morning.

Online records indicate that Marcus Ewing, 41, and Dontray Jones, 36, of Fort Wayne, Ind. are currently in Kent County jail awaiting formal robbery charges.

Police say one of the men entered the Kent County Employee’s Credit Union on Plainfield Avenue wearing a fake beard and sweatshirt at 9:10 a.m.  He allegedly produced a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money.  The other man acted as the getaway driver.  Police did not specify which man was the robber and which was the driver.

After a brief chase in the area, police lost their silver-colored SUV on Eleanor Street NE but relocated them after receiving tips, according to a press release.

One of the men was arrested on Eleanor Street, and the other on Philpot NE.  Police said evidence of the robbery was discovered inside the SUV.
