GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The two Holland teenagers killed Tuesday morning in a crash on I-196 had twice the legal limit of alcohol for an of-age driver in their systems, according to Michigan State Police.

Julien Tirado, 17, and Kevin Boonheaun, 17, crashed just after midnight Tuesday morning on westbound I-196 near Butterworth Avenue.  A third person in their vehicle allegedly fled the scene of that accident. That person was also located and questioned by police, but their identity was not revealed.
