You should be ashamed of your self, her family is reading this and you say something like that when she is fighting for her life. Shame on you

Judgemental jerks, such as yourself continue to make her feel bad about herself, after he has abused her mentally to the point of thinking she is nothing. Great going – you sound like one yourself!

There are many reasons why individuals stay in abusive relationships: Fear of losing kids, fear of not having money to escape the relationship, not having a MEANS to escape, yes, of course the fact that there is love and hope that the person will change, deep-set beliefs that separation is not the answer, fear of leaving lest she experience even more violence, fear that nobody will believe her, etc. I would encourage you to look more into domestic violence, because you seem to have no idea what women and men who are involved in abusive relationships goes through.

The report says ex-noyfriend and later mentions that police were called to their residence. Does that mean the victim and her year old daughter? I guess,it is possible that the victim broke up with him after the assault despite being in critical condition. I hope she and her unborn child survive to recover from this violent act.
