Governor Snyder to Speak at Homeless Veterans’ Apartment Expansion

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Governor Rick Snyder is scheduled to speak at the Silver Star Apartments in Battle Creek, this afternoon.

The apartments provide permanent, low-income housing for homeless veterans.

A media advisory from the governor’s office indicates that Snyder will offer remarks regarding the apartments’ expansion efforts. It currently has 75 units and sits on the Veterans Affairs Medical Center campus.
