Consumers Energy: Power Won’t Fully be Restored Until Friday or Saturday

WEST MICHIGAN- Consumers Energy says more than 270,000 customers are without power statewide.  Those customers aren’t expected to be fully restored until Friday or as late as Saturday.

The company tells us they are currently securing down wires and assessing where aid is needed.

Mutual aid has been called in from as far as Kentucky to help restore the power.

Customers can track the progress of the power outages by using the real-time outage map.
