WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — Much colder air will be spilling into Michigan Saturday morning, and with it, most areas will see some light snow. Some areas downwind of Lake Michigan, however, will see much more.

This is an estimate from our in-house computer model, Future Track. Each contour represents two-inch interval. Therefore, the area in white is up to two inches, the area in light blue is two to four inches, and so on. Parts of Allegan, Van Buren, and Cass Counties could see over six inches accumulation.

Traveling to Chicago via I-196 or I-94 from Kalamazoo could be difficult at times due to the lake-effect snow bands.
