Former Pastor, Cornerstone Professor Accused of Felony Peeping

1321495GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A Cornerstone University theological professor and former pastor is facing two counts of felony peeping.

Jeremy Grinnell, 40, is accused of climbing up a ladder to look through a bedroom window at two people having sex, according to Kent County Undersheriff Jon Hess.

He waived a probable cause hearing Monday in Kent County District Court.

Grinnell resigned from a teaching professor position at Bella Vista Church in Rockford Nov. 17.  He was arrested Nov. 8.

He is charged with two felony counts of surveying an unclothed person.  Each carries a potential two-year jail sentence.

According tohis faculty page at Cornerstone, he graduated from Calvin College’s theological seminary with a Ph.D in 2011.   He has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation, according to a release from Cornerstone.
