ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Two of the three suspects in the murder of Paul DeWolf have now been formally charged in court.

Joei Jordan, 20, was arraigned Tuesday on open murder and home invasion charges in 14a District Court.  Both he and 21-year-old Shaquille Jones were arrested in South Carolina in early November.

Jones was arraigned Nov. 22 on the same four charges as Jordan:  open murder, two counts of first-degree home invasion and conspiracy to commit home invasion.

DeWolf, a Schoolcraft native, was found murdered July 24 at the Phi Rho Sigma medical fraternity, 220 N. Ingalls St. in Ann Arbor.  A friend found the 25-year-old in the basement of the house after he didn’t show up for an assignment at the veteran’s hospital.

He was a med student at the University of Michigan and a second lieutenant in the Air Force.

A third suspect, 21-year-old Dajeon Franklin, is awaiting charges related to the murder.
