Photos: Southwest Michigan Slammed by Snow

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – A band of lake-effect snow had already left as much as five or six inches of snow from South Haven through Dowagiac and into parts of Berrien County.

Major backups are being reported along I-94 in the Coloma area and near the I-196 interchange.

FOX 17 Meteorologist Kelly Smith said Wednesday afternoon that Berrien County could pick up as much as four to six inches by Thanksgiving.

She reported Wednesday morning along I-196 near South Haven Wednesday morning.  Smith said roads were very slick and snow-covered.  Here is a video she shot at the South Haven pier.
