KALAMAZOO, Mich. — According to the Kalamazoo County Circuit Court Fred Gilespie has been found not guilty on all counts related to the Kalamazoo apartment fire that killed 3-children.

Gilespie was on trial for 3-counts of involuntary manslaughter and 3-counts of second-degree child abuse for allegedly leaving the children at Interfaith Apartments prior to the blaze in Febuary.

The children’s mother, Jonetta Woods, said she left them with Glespie, her boyfriend, while she went out for a few minutes.
