GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- West Michigan is getting a chance to jazz up its music tastes.
Thanks to MSU Federal Credit Union, the MSU College of Music is launching a new jazz studies artist in residence program. One of the artists performing as part of the program is Jon Faddis. Faddis started playing at the age of eight and has toured with names such as the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Big Band and Dizzy Gillespie.
Faddis will be performing Saturday night at Northview High School at 7:30 p.m.
