VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. – A man is in jail after sheriff’s deputies said he got drunk and fired a shotgun inside the home where he lives with his parents.
Authorities were called to the 67,000 block 8th avenue in Geneva Twp. on Thursday.
When they arrived, they said the suspect ran from the home. They caught up to him in the 7,000 block of County Road 687.
No one was hurt. Authorities said shots were fired through the man’s dresser and that they exited out the rear wall of the home.
The suspect was taken to jail and faces several charges.
