HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A woman was assaulted Tuesday morning at the entrance of the Westshore Mall parking lot.
She told police that a man exited his vehicle while she was stopped at a stop sign, opened her door and assaulted her. She drove away, fled to the mall and called police.
The suspect is described as a white male between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a Carhartt jacket and a black stocking cap at the time of the incident, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials say he was was in a gray mid-sized vehicle, but had no further description. The male driver of the vehicle is also being considered a person of interest in the case.
