LOCKWOOD, Mont. — A man who dealt methamphetamine and was involved in a shootout with his son — and happens to share a name with AMC’s ‘Breaking Bad’ anti-hero, played by Bryan Cranston — will spend more than 12 years in federal prison.
According to The Billings Gazette, Walter Jack White, 53, was sentenced to nine years on a meth possession charge, and three-and-a-half years on a weapons conviction.
The judge said White was responsible for 32 pounds of meth, an amount he called “extraordinary.”
Officers arrested White back in March, where they seized drugs and two handguns. The seizure came after an incident in January, in which White was shot by his son outside of his home and business. Police say the shooting was the result of a disputed drug debt.
