FRUITLAND TWP., Mich.- The Muskegon County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting that happened in the 2300 block of McMillan Road.
Deputies say the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday morning when a group of uninvited guests showed up at a party. The two groups started fighting and that’s when shots were fired.
At this time, 1 person is dead and 3 others are hurt. Sources tell us that the deceased victim is Gary Ogreen who graduated from Reeths Puffer High School in 2011.There are no updates on the other victim’s conditions at this time.
Detectives are now looking at possible surveillance video from a B.P. Gas Station down the road from the house that the suspects may have stopped at before the shooting.
The Muskegon County Sheriff’s Department is currently interviewing witnesses and have the names of possible suspects but are still investigating.
