Group Being Questioned in South Haven for Car Break-Ins

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. – Investigators said they are questioning a group of people who may be responsible for up to 50 break-ins in the South Haven area.

The South Haven Police Department said officers ‘made contact’ with the suspects early Tuesday morning.  They may be linked to between 40 and 50 vehicle break-ins within South Haven city limits as well as South Haven Township.

Charges were not authorized as of this writing; however, the suspects were still being interviewed.  Police said numerous charges are expected.
