MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. — Two Muskegon County men are facing felony charges related to the Dec. 21 quadruple shooting in Fruitland Township that left one man dead.

Raymond Coleman Jr., 22, of Muskegon, and an as-yet unidentified 28-year-old Montague man were arrested on charges of lying to police about the fatal house party shooting.

Coleman was arraigned Thursday on one count of lying to a peace officer in a violent crime investigation.  The Montague man hasn’t been arraigned yet, but faces the same charge during his Jan. 6 arraignment.

He is currently out of jail on a $25,000 bond, according to Chief Assistant Prosecutor Tim Maat.

Both men face up to four years in prison if convicted.

The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Dec. 21 after a fight at a house party in the 2300 block of West McMillan Road.

Twenty-one-year-old Gary Lee O’Green was killed and three other men were wounded.

Twenty-two-year-old Deontay Demarco Black-Wickliffe is still wanted on a murder charge for the shooting.  An arrest warrant was issued for him Dec. 23 for open murder, three counts of assault with intent to murder and one felony firearm charge.

Alexander Bumstead, 23, is currently behind bars on charges of involuntary manslaughter related to the shooting.

Coleman and the other man allegedly came with Black-Wickliffe to the party and left with him after the shooting.  They were also seen with him after the alleged shooting, but Maat said that they told police otherwise when questioned.

Maat also said that Black-Wickliffe was the only gunman the night of the shooting.

Coleman’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 8.  He is currently in jail on a $25,000 bond.
