GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A male suspect involved in a standoff at a home in Grand Rapids has been taken into police custody.
It all started around 5:30 a.m. Saturday at a home near Francis and Withey on the city’s southeast side.
Police were called to a home there for a domestic disturbance.
A woman and several children made it out of that home safely, but there was one child who was left with the armed male suspect.
Around 8:30 a.m. the suspect was peacefully taken into custody. No one was hurt.
