Three Injured in Shooting at Gas Station

crime_gunKALAMAZOO, Mich. – Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are searching for a suspect after a shooting Sunday morning that left three people injured.

Just before 2 a.m., officers responded to a report of a fight with shots fired in the parking lot of Shakespeare’s Pub in the 200 block of East Kalamazoo. Minutes later, more gunshots were reported at the Shell Gas Station in the 400 block of West Michigan.

Upon arrival at the gas station, police found two victims who were shot in the parking lot. A 49 year-old male had a gunshot wound to his leg, while a 28 year-old male was shot in the pelvis region and ankle. He is listed in critical condition at the hospital.

A 24 year-old male victim later showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds to his leg, arm and back.

Officers say the suspect took off in a black midsize vehicle.
