Kalamazoo’s Oakwood Neighborhood Monday

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The following news release was sent to media Monday afternoon regarding travel conditions in the city of Kalamazoo.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety continues to remind residents to travel with caution and only if absolutely necessary. Public Services personnel have been working around the clock to make our main roadways as safe as possible.

It is requested that citizens continue to keep their sidewalks clear in front of their homes, assist public safety efforts by removing snow from around fire hydrants that they notice are covered, and try to refrain from parking on streets that have not yet been cleared of snow by city workers.

Reports of parking complaints or roadway safety concerns may be reported at 269-337-8994.
