BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — I-94 between Paw Paw and Benton Harbor is still “extremely icy” in both directions, according to a press release from Michigan State Police.
Officials are asking motorists to use extreme caution when traveling on the freeway, and said troopers are currently on policing several crashes in the area.
“Their safety depends on your ability to maintain control of your vehicle,” the release says.
Two state police Tahoes have been struck in the past two days in the Paw Paw/Benton Harbor stretch of I-94 while on the scene of traffic crashes. No injuries were reported.
