GRAND RAPIDS, Mich- A 16-year-old accidentally shot themselves in the foot on the North East side of Grand Rapids Saturday afternoon.
According to the Grand Rapids Police Department, the teenager shot himself around 4 p.m. in the 900 block of Maybelle Street NE.
The teenager was then taken to a local Grand Rapids hospital where they are in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
Two other teenagers that were in the home at the time of the shooting were taken into custody.
This case remains under investigation by the Grand Rapids Police Department.
