GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — He is the reigning American League Cy Young award winner, just got paid a lot of money and is about to get a whole lot more.

Tigers starting pitcher Max Scherzer, who is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2014 season, talked with FOX 17 about his contract situation and what it takes to create a relationship of trust with new manager Brad Ausmus.
