City of Sturgis Declares A Snow Emergency

winter_weatherSTURGIS, MI- The City of Sturgis has declared a snow emergency based on the snow that has already fallen and what is still left to come this weekend.

The snow emergency went into effect at 10 a.m. Saturday morning.

During this snow emergency, parking is prohibited on all city streets. Any vehicle parked on a city street will be towed at the owner’s expense.

The parking restrictions will remain in effect until a street has been cleared of snow between two successive street intersections or until the city of Sturgis makes an announcement.
