Two Teenagers Struck By Two Separate Vehicles On 68th Street

Kent County Sheriff patrol car logoGAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich- Two teenagers are recovering Sunday morning after being struck by two different vehicles early Sunday morning.

According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department, the two teenagers were attempting to cross 68th street in Gaines Township when they were struck by separate vehicles. The first teenager was struck by a vehicle travelling westbound on 68th street and the second teenager was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on 68th street.

Both teenagers were taken to Devos Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.

The teenagers failed to look both ways before crossing 68th street. Alcohol was not a factor in this incident.
