Winter Weather Forces Changes to Hope and Calvin Schedules Again

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — For a second time in three days, Hope and Calvin each lost to the weather.

Hope announced that its men’s and women’s basketball games have been postponed again. Both teams were supposed to play today after their games Saturday got canceled by the winter weather in West Michigan.

The Hope Flying Dutch (women’s basketball) will now travel to Alma on Monday, February 3. The Flying Dutchmen’s (men’s basketball) home game against Kalamazoo has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 3 at the DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland.

Calvin College also announced that its women’s basketball home game against Trine has been postponed again. The game was originally supposed to take place at Van Noord Arena on Saturday, but was pushed back to 6:00 p.m. today. Winter weather has forced the game to be canceled again and is now scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 3.
