HAMLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An infant and her mother were killed and a 5-year-old was critically injured Wednesday night during a two-vehicle crash in Mason County.
The crash happened on Jebavy Drive north of Fisher Road, according to the Mason County Press.
A car occupied by the woman and the children was traveling northbound when it crossed into the path of a pickup truck, Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole told the press.
The 5-year-old child was transported to the hospital by Aero Med. The mother and child were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Mason County Press, the infant was in a carseat.
