Pileup on I-94 in Jackson County
JACKSON COUNTY, Mich. (Feb. 5, 2014) – Interstate 94 was closed in both directions Wednesday morning after a pileup involving multiple semi trucks.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department told the Jackson Citizen Patriot newspaper to “avoid I-94 at all costs” due to the number of crashes between Lansing Avenue and Dettman Road.
It is not clear if anyone was hurt.
The crashes happened as a heavy snow blanketed parts of lower Michigan with heavier bands along the I-94 corridor.
