Deputies Searching For Suspect After Gas Station Robbery

kalamazoo-county-unit-day-genericOSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (Feb 9th, 2014)-  The Kalamazoo County Sheriff Department is search for a man who robbed a gas station Sunday morning in Oshtemo Township.

According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect walked into the Shell Gas Station in the 5700 block of W. Main Street, armed with a knife and demanded money. After the clerk complained with the suspect, the suspect fled the store on foot.

Deputies were able to track the suspect to a parking lot next to the gas station, where it appears the suspect left in an unknown vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’9 to 5’11 wearing a dark jacket with a red shirt and a grey stocking cap.
