Kelloggs-logo-and-buildingBATTLE CREEK, Mich. (Feb. 13, 2014) — Some 300 to 600 new jobs are coming to Grand Rapids when Kellogg’s opens what it calls a North America Global Services Center.

Grand Rapids was chosen “based on a variety of factors, including operating costs and the availability of suitable, existing facilities, said a post on the company’s web site.

The move is part of Project K, an initiative announced recently that that is intended to streamline the company.

The facility will open sometime in the third quarter of 2014. Staff will include people in finance, IT, supply chain, and human resources.
