MONTAGUE, Mich. – Whiteout conditions are plastering Muskegon County causing dangerous driving conditions and in one case drifting over a vehicle with snow.

Pictures were sent to FOX 17 from Eagle Towing showing a Dodge Neon buried in snow at Whitebeck and Fruitvale Roads in Montague.

One of the pictures shows an officer clearing away snow to see if anyone was inside the blanketed vehicle.  There wasn’t.

The weather conditions were so treacherous in the Montague area Friday that the public school district began releasing students in the 1pm hour.
