CONVIS, TWP., Mich (April 3, 2014) – A large amount of dynamite has been detonated after being found in Calhoun County.
A sergeant with the sheriff’s department says a man called 911 yesterday after finding 256 sticks of dynamite as he was cleaning out the home of a deceased relative.
The Battle Creek Police Bomb Squad and the Michigan State Police Bomb Squad responded to the home.
The next day, police removed the dynamite and blew it up.
