Coroner: “No Obvious Signs of Trauma” on Body Found in Lake Charles

Lake CharlesPORTER, Indiana (March 6, 2014) – Porter County Coroner Chuck Harris says the body found in Lake Charles had no obvious signs of trauma.

Harris says the body recovered was that of a black woman the age couldn’t be determined due to decomposition.

The body was found just yards from where Teleka Patrick’s car was found along I-94 on December 5.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

      Because it was frozen over as lakes often do during winter. The police searched the surface of the frozen lake with sonar equipment back a month or so ago and have done ground searches since the snow melted. They were going to do a search of the lake later this spring but obviously somebody found her before the search took place.
