Crews Searching For Montcalm Co. Woman Who Has Dementia

Police lights multiple nightMONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. (April 6, 2014)- Search crews are looking for a missing woman who suffers from dementia, that’s according to Montcalm County dispatchers.

Dispatchers said Betty Jane Updike, 81, was last seen Saturday around 2 p.m. near her home on south Backus Road in Eureka Township. Updike was said to be wearing a light-colored jacket.

Dispatchers said a crew in a helicopter is actively searching from above while K-9 units cover the ground.
