GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (April 7, 2014) —  Baseball season begins in West Michigan on Tuesday evening, as the West Michigan Whitecaps take on the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at 6:30pm at Fifth Third Ball Park in Comstock Park.

The forecast is looking good, with sunshine, a brisk wind, and temperatures in the 40s. This image from our in-house computer model, Future Track, shows the 6:30pm temperatures.  Winds will be from the northwest, so temperatures will likely fall into the upper 30s by the end of the game.

FOX 17 will be live all day at the newly-renovated park. Our entire 5:00pm and 6:00pm newscasts will be live from the game.
