According to a release from Norton Shores Police Chief Daniel Shaw, the break-in happened at approximately 6:12 a.m. Tuesday at the Sprint store on Harvey Street.

Five suspects are believed to have forcibly entered through the back door and then stolen several cellphones and other electronic devices.  All of the suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts, face masks and gloves.

They are believed to be riding in a dark SUV with an unknown make and model, according to a press release.  No other descriptions were provided.

A similar robbery was reported at a Sprint store in Ottawa County’s Allendale Township at 7:05 a.m. the same day.  There was a similar-looking scene March 22 in Lowell when burglars struck a Verizon store.

Shaw said investigators are still working to determine if the break-ins are related.
