ROCKFORD, Mich. (April 10, 2014) — Six-year-old Blake Peasley stands out for a number of reasons. He’s got a bright red mohawk – and he’s also a Michigan Youth Wrestling Association state champion.
‘Blake the Beast’ headed to nationals this weekend with a 33-0 record and – like every day of his life – he went into the competition fighting an internal battle. He suffers from a blood disorder, that prevents his blood from clotting.
**April 14 Update**
Blake’s mother contacted us on Sunday, sharing the news that he won a NUWAY National Wrestling Championship.
